Just drove by an interesting construction project in Waterbury, CT: a mosque (the walls are blanketed in a particularly loud shade of green plastic sheets), partially obscured by pizza and furniture billboards.

wonderful post, keep going. i love mosques ..Merry Christmas to you, God Bless
muslms want to kill gays.
Some do. Most don’t. Muslims are people, individuals, some of them are even gay. OTOH, I get where you are coming from. Islamic countries are over-represented in the list of countries that punish gay men with the death penalty. Nigeria, Iran, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Mauritania.
hello,
I would like to get some info regarding the decoration of this Mosque. I honestly don’t care about anything but decoration.
I am a Master Decorator. My area of expertise is in the line of Catholic Cathedrals as well as State Capitol buildings and important Government restorations such as the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington D.C.
I have a friend who has more than a bit of experience painting Mosques in Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. I know that it may be a bit of a stretch, but he has impressed me….and I am VERY hard to impress. Perhaps I could be of help to you both? I would really like to act as a bridge if I can.
Thank you for your time. best, tim
Hi, Tim.
You should probably get in touch with the administration of the mosque.
We don’t have any connection to them. This is our hobby-blog.
