I was plucked by the word “surveillance.” Then I remembered that with nearly every telephone also being a camera, the surveillance is continual and continuous, and why doesn’t that bother me?
That’s part of the point. Why ask “why are you pointing a camera at me?” of private citizens, but NOT of governments and corporations – who do the lion’s share of the surveillance.
